Venetian Islands’ residents have something to celebrate! What is it you ask? Well, we are celebrating the grand opening of the Purdy Avenue water taxi dock. As of January 13th, residents of Venetian Islands now have water taxi access within walking distance or a short bike ride away from their home. The new water taxi route will run Friday through Sunday, and will use a 38 passenger vessel with the ability to accommodate bicycles.

Water Taxi Hours of Operation
The water taxi arrives and takes off from the Purdy Avenue Dock at 11:40 AM, 1:10 PM, 2:40 PM, 4:10 PM, and 5:40 PM. From June 1st through August 31st, the water taxi arrives and tasks off at 7:10 PM.
Water Taxi Fares
The water taxi fares range from $15.00 for adults and children (5 and up), $7.50 for children (1 to 4), Free for children under 1, $10 for military and seniors (65 and up), and $10.00 for Miami Beach residents. A monthly pass costs $95.00, and an annual pass costs $295.00. The water taxi company also offers all day unlimited passes ranging from $15.00 to $30.00.So, walk or bike on over to the Purdy Avenue Dock and take the scenic route to get around the beach and bay area.
