Can Food and Wine Also Sell Real Estate?

The South Beach Wine & Food Festival kicked off yesterday and will be showcasing over 75 different events. Although it’s obviously aimed at foodies, the sponsors are also hoping to grab the attention of well to do real estate buyers.

One of the sponsors of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival is the developer behind several notable projects in South Florida like the 300 Biscayne, the two Echo condos, and the Muse condo. By featuring the developer’s name on various items like bags, cups, and banners, there is a tremendous opportunity to appeal to attendees. Tickets for the events can average more than $300, ensuring that there is plenty of room to grab the attention of people who may be looking for a second or third home.

Some of the projects by the Related Group developer like Auberge Beach Residences are also festival sponsors, and the developer itself has admitted that food quality and restaurants are considered vital components in these projects.

The 15th South Beach Wine & Food Festival ends this Sunday, the 28th. Will you be attending any of the numerous festival events and if so, do you see yourself potentially investing in a property?
