Ferrari Interiors for a Miami Condo

The Italian designers known for working and sculpting the sleek forms of sports cars like Ferraris and Maseratis went to another level as being responsible for the interiors of new Miami Beach Luxury Condos, a 42-story condominium tower in Brickell where everything is fast.

The sport-car angle was he key to success at the 1100 Millecentro by Pininfarina, the design firm based in Turin, Italy. This is one of the two luxury buildings with interiors by Pininfarina in the United States, and it is located at 1100 South Miami Avenue.

The firm’s chairman and grandson of the founder, Paolo Pininfarina, explained “this is the first skyscraper Pininfarina design, not only in Miami, not only in the United States, but in the world. There will be others. We found the right momentum.” The designers decided to open a studio and office in Miami, the first office outside Italy, and the nonautomotive designer moved here to head its design operations in the United States, Central America, and South America.

This high-living building with 382 units was announced in 2012, and it is the perfect fit for the Miami boat life. The public space of the building by Pininfarina is decorated with large black-and-white photographs of the design firm’s legendary cars.
